Positive: The house is well maintained, beautifully decorated and probably one of the most (if not THE most!) stunning locations we have ever stayed. We were fortunate to have considerate neighbours downstairs and so it was quiet at night; beds and pillows were very comfortable. Capucine speaks excellent English, which was very helpful and made things much easier for us. We loved the fact that the property uses a rain water harvesting system for its water supply
Negative: The property we booked is described as having 3 bedrooms, this is not accurate: it is 2 bedrooms plus a mezzanine, no photos of the latter are available on Booking.com, almost certainly because it is not as nice as the main bedrooms. Because the apartment downstairs had already been booked for our dates, this did not show on the availability and with photos of 3 bedrooms on the overall property description, although both semi-detached and detached are mentioned in the property description, I believed I was booking a detached property. The property is split in to 2 holiday cottages, therefore neither is detached. It was unbearably hot in the property during our stay, so although Capucine lent us 2 large fans, the property either needs full-size fans in every bedroom or air conditioning throughout. In the third bedroom without the fan, we slept with the windows open at night, but then ended up bitten by mosquitos. Despite these negative comments, I would book again, I would just have different expectations next time
